What Is The Real-Time Filter?
The real-time filter is the little search box on the right hand side of the search results. We created this filter to make finding the torrent files faster and a whole lot easier. For example, you searched for 'Madonna', but you only want her music from 2008, you can now enter '2008' in the real-time filter and it will only display results that contain that keyword. If the keyword can't be found the filter search box will color red. If you remove the keyword all the original search results will instantly show up again.

Engine Filter
Another way to filter results is by using our engine filter. On the search page you will see a bunch of small icons on the right hand side. These are the torrent websites we have just connected to with your query. You can display the results from each engine separately by clicking on a certain icon. A small text link will appear just below the icons to remove the filter again.

Help one of the torrent sites I have selected does not show up, why does this happen? - We automatically remove the icons of websites that have problems returning good results for certain queries. It might happen that a certain engine works for query 1, but for query 2 we might remove it because we aren't happy with the quality of the torrents.

My Search Options
At the top of every page you will find a link to the 'My Search Options' page. Here you can customize Kylixensemble.com to your personal preference. You are able to select your favorite torrent websites, how to order the search results and how many results per page you want to see.

Browser Plugin
If you click the little green logo just above the search box you will be taken to the browser search plugin page. We currently offer search plugins for Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Flock and all FireFox releases.

What Is BitTorrent?
BitTorrent (often abbreviated to 'BT') is a protocol (a set of rules and description of how to do things) allowing you to download files quickly by allowing people downloading the file to upload (distribute) parts of it at the same time. BitTorrent is often used for distribution of very large files, very popular files and files available for free, as it is a lot cheaper, faster and more efficient to distribute files using BitTorrent than a regular download.

What Is A BitTorrent Client?
A 'client' in this case is a computer program that follows the rules of a protocol. For example, HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) is the protocol used to download web pages and other content - like this page - and your HTTP client (or browser) is the program you use to get those web pages. Some popular browsers include Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Opera. To an extent, they all work the same way because they follow the same set of rules.

Just as there are multiple HTTP clients, there are multiple BitTorrent clients, and uTorrent is one such BT client.
